Hi I'm Wendy!

I've been Dr. Scott Petereit's Practice Manager since 2001.  I currently split my time between Camp McDonald and his other practice in Kenosha, WI.  In 1994, I graduated from Parkland College, Champaign, Illinois, as a Certified Veterinary Technician.   Before joining the team here, I had worked for a veterinarian in southern IL, for 5 years, that at one point owned 12 practices in the St. Louis area.  I really loved that job and never dreamed that I would find another one that made me so happy to go to work.   I was wrong, I'm once again part of a wonderful team and I can truly say that I love my job and .

My husband, Scott, an ER nurse, and I have been married since 1994.  We live in Lake County with our 3 children, Josh, Ben and Mara.  They bring joys to us every single day.  Outside of the office I stay pretty busy with them.  We are very involved with our church and Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.  Personally, I enjoy spending time with our families and scrapbooking and visiting with friends.  We travel as often as we can, we all love to camp and explore nature.

Our dog, Carly, joined our family on 12/13/08.  She is an Australian Shepherd mix about 1 year old, adopted from a rescue in Chicago.
