Dog Star Daily 
Dog Star Daily is a website designed for veterinarians, trainers and dog owners.  The site was developed by Dr. Ian Dunbad - a veterinarian, veterinary behaviorist and founder of the association for pet dog trainers.  This site is a great resource for training ideas, troubleshooting behavior problems in puppies / dogs of all ages or learning why your dog does the things he does.  There is a great section on raising puppies that is perfect for those who are thinking of getting a puppy or the new puppy owner.  There are also a variety of fun videos to help with training or just to make you laugh a little.

Animal Behavior Resource Institute
Animal Behavior Resource Institute is a website designed for veterinarians, trainers and pet owners.  The site was developed by RK Anderson - a veterinarian and the person who designed the gentle leader.  This site is a great resource for training ideas, troubleshooting behavior problems for both dogs & cats or just to learn more about why our dogs & cats behave the way they do.  The site includes both articles, podcasts and videos to help you better understand your pets behavior.

This is the website of the National Animal Poison Control Center. It includes a library, links to other sites, and phone numbers for the poison control center.

West Nile Virus
This site is maintained by the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, and has the latest information on the spread of West Nile Virus in the US, as well as information on disease transmission, symptoms, etc.

USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service
The USDA maintains this website with information on a variety of animal health related topics, including the latest news on such things as Mad Cow Disease, foot and mouth disease, and many other things.
